Class of 1964: The Class of 1964 has held “off year” reunions several times over the last few years. The class is gathering again at the Dunes Club at Atlantic Beach on September 25th. They expect 60 or so to attend, They have had a class website (https://www.broughton64.com/) through Class Creator, which is how they communicate.e.
- Class of 1978: Fifty years — how did that happen so fast! The Class of ’78 will kick off planning for our 50th reunion a little later this year, with April 2028 as the tentative target for the big celebration. Keep an eye out for updates on our Needham B. Broughton Class of ’78 Facebook page, the Alumni Newsletter, and Word of Mouth. It’s going to be a great one.
- Class of 1982: A reunion will be held in Fall 2027.
- Class of 1986: The Class of 1986 will hold their 40th reunion on October 17, 2026, from 6:00 pm -9:00 pm at Clouds Brewing, 505 W. Jones St., Raleigh, NC 27603. Invitations were sent out on September 1, 2026. Please contact Lisa Ginger (lisaginger697@gmail.com) or Katherine Snow Smith (kvsnowsmith@gmail.com) for more details.
- Class of 1993: The Class of 1993 will have a 35th Reunion at the same time as Homecoming in 2028. Bryant Paris hasa tentative location and the Reunion Committee will publicize the event by social media, electronic mail, text message, mail, and word of mouth. Bryant Paris is the contact person along with Lisa Bolton Lowrance, Lee Ann Bass Shearon, and others. They will have more information in 2027.
- Class of 1996: The Class of 1996 will host its 30-Year Reunion on November 21, 2026. Class members should follow “broughtonclassof1996” on Instagram for additional details. (From James Little)
- Class of 1997: The class of 1997 has not indicated an interest in holding a 30-year reunion.
- Class of 2010: No current plans or needed information for Class of 2010 at this time.
Alumni who graduated from Broughton 51 or more years ago are invited to the first Golden Grad Luncheon on Wednesday, October 14, at noon at Trophy, 207 Bickett Blvd. Reconnect with classmates, enjoy lunch, and hear from past scholarship recipients as they share memories of Broughton and what they’ve done since graduation. Tickets are $45 per person.
